An ankle length dress with a round neck and long boxy yoke reminiscent of flapper dresses. The waist has a gathered flair with appliqued floral motifs along the seam and horizontal stripes, contrasting the vertical stripes of the bodice. The skirt has 3 pleats placed at unequal distances and a contrasting selvedge detail that adds a vivid pop of colour. The back of the bodice has a low yoke and a centre button placket with concealed buttons.
The garment is constructed in a handloomed blend of mulberry silk and modal silk, that gives it the characteristic sheen of mulberry silk without the slubbiness. It comes with a full length muslin slip that has wide straps and scalloped hemline

Variations and irregularities in the fabric are an integral characteristic of the hand printed, handwoven and hand spun fabrics. They add to the uniqueness of the product and are not a defect. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding the colour or size.

Once your order is placed, it will be handcrafted over approximately 3 weeks before being carefully packed and dispatched from our studio.
From there, your order will be delivered according to the shipping timelines outlined in our Shipping Policy.

All hand-made garments must be hand washed separately in cold water with a mild detergent. Handle the garment with care and avoid scrubbing or wringing it out. Air dry flat out of direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.
