We believe fashion from the Global South carries stories the world needs to see - of craft, community, and continuity. In a system driven by speed, we choose to slow down, creating space for makers, materials, and meaning to be valued.
This is not just commerce - it’s a collective shift toward a more thoughtful, connected way of consuming.
OUR STORY
Ardour was born when my 16 year old self learned that time poverty driven by a social norm that a women’s role is primarily domestic was keeping women in India away from paid and reported work. Women wanted to engage in part time regular work (eg tailoring) and become an agency of change - in their own time and at their own will. However domestic engagements took away 5.5hours of their time every single day leaving them with little to no power to control their own livelihoods.
Ardour was born out of a need to shift balance of power back to the women of India. As a platform, we exist to celebrate and empower women creators of India through online, pop-up retail, events, and workshops - globally.

OUR VALUES
We are built on the belief that fashion should be experienced with intention. So, we curate and present slow fashion from India through a lens that values craft, community, and culture. Through both commerce and real-world experiences, we create moments of discovery that go beyond the transactional.
We understand that we have a responsibility towards the creator and the consumer. So as much as we are a creator first platform, we are also here to ensure that the consumers have complete transparency of the brand ethics, values, and supply chain before they make a purchase decision.
Because the future of fashion lies not in speed, but in depth - in knowing where something comes from, who made it, and why it matters.
