Every garment curated by Ardour, is crafted using traditional techniques that honour people, process and the natural world. Because many of these textiles are made by hand using natural materials, slight variations in colour, texture and finish are not imperfections - they're a reflection of the hands that made them.
With the right care, your pieces will continue to age beautifully for years to come.
Natural Dyes & Eco Printing
Some of the collections are coloured using plant-based dyes and natural pigments, offering an alternative to conventional chemical dyeing. These dyes are derived from nature and evolve gracefully over time, developing a rich character unique to each garment.
Natural dyes are sensitive to changes in pH. To preserve their colour, avoid prolonged contact with acidic substances such as citrus, wine and vinegar, as well as alkaline products like baking soda.
Eco Printing
Eco printing is a botanical printing technique where leaves, flowers and other plant materials are carefully arranged by hand and transferred onto fabric using heat and steam.
Because every petal and leaf is placed individually, no two prints are ever the same. Each eco-printed garment is a one-of-a-kind piece that celebrates nature's unpredictability and the beauty of slow craftsmanship.
Care Instructions
- Hand wash separately in cold water using a mild detergent.
- Avoid scrubbing, soaking or wringing the fabric.
- Dry flat in the shade, away from direct sunlight.
- Some natural colour transfer during the first few washes is completely normal.
Handloom
Handloom weaving is one of India's oldest living craft traditions. Every metre of fabric is woven by hand, making each textile subtly unique in texture and character. Unlike mass-produced fabrics, handloom textiles are created slowly, with exceptional skill and attention to detail, resulting in durable, breathable fabrics designed to be cherished for years.
Care Instructions

A Note on Handmade
Because garments are made by artisans using handcrafted processes, slight variations in colour, weave and print are part of their authenticity. These natural differences are what make every piece unique - and a reminder that it was made by human hands, not machines.
